Cecy B’s album entitled Street Sexy is a clear testament of her talents and her will to overcome the myriad of obstacles within the entertainment industry. With 808 bass tucked underneath, Cecy’s sultry voice and street-witty metaphors are accentuated in songs such as Take It Down; however, it is songs such as Get It Jumpin’ and Come Home With Me that are sure to have club-hoppers grindin’ from the windows to the wall! Although she looks as tasty as Crème Brule with her seductively petite package and butterscotch-rose colored skin, Cecy B. is no one-dimensional T&A rap act. Her passion for rap music and the diversity of Cecy’s flow are highlighted in Turn It Out and Gangsta Gangsta but tracks like Head to the Sky and The Light send powerful messages to single mothers as well as to our youth. The musical bed of the album is influenced by the works of such laudable producers as Trilogy Productions whose break-through production powered such artists as Bad Boy’s B-5, Keith Sweat, TLC’s T-Boz, and the multi-platinum High School Musical soundtrack. The sexy 5’2” dynamo describes her album as a mixture of Hip-Hop, R&B Pop, English and Spanish. 1. Street Sexy Intro
